TMZ Sports recently shared the news on Twitter that Mayweather bought a humongous necklace worth $1 million. Reportedly, Johnny Dang, the celebrity jeweler is the man behind the chain.

Mayweather is among six athletes in the world, who have earned more than $1 billion in revenue from sports. Not only that, but he also had several other streams of revenue such as brand promotions, and his own boxing promotion house ‘Mayweather Promotion’. As of 2023, he has a net worth of $460 Million. For such a man buying a necklace worth $ 1 million is nothing.
Mayweather had partnered with Johnny Dang, to make the diamond-studded necklace. As per the reports, the necklace is made out of, an iced-out white gold chain which is studded with a huge amount of diamonds, 8500 in number. The whole chain weighs around 5.5 lbs and the total cost to make it is $1 million. However, this is not the only expensive thing Mayweather bought. He also leads a very lavish lifestyle.
Floyd Mayweather has a generational wealth
Mayweather retired from professional boxing in the year 2017 and has a perfect boxing record of 50-0. The champion has a fleet of 100 cars, he said in an interview. Those include all the luxury cars such as Rolls Royce, Bugatti, and Ferrari among others. The champion also boasts private jets.

Mayweather has two apartments, one in Palmer Island in Miami Beach, and the other one in Beverly Hills. The Miami villa reportedly cost him around $18 million and the Beverly Hills house is even bigger, as it came with a price tag of a whopping $22 million.
