However, someone finally seems to have got Mayweather on the run. As per the latest story uploaded by Mayweather’s current trainer, it seems Mayweather, far away from the public eye, has finally been defeated not once but twice.

Floyd Mayweather lost twice to his current coach

Floyd Mayweather recently made a comeback to professional boxing. He squared off with former sparring partner Don Moore on the helipad of a skyscraper in Dubai, Abu Dhabi. Looks like, at age 45, Floyd Mayweather has finally found himself a match.

Mayweather under the guidance of Gerald Tucker

Following the unfortunate demise of his uncle Roger Mayweather in March 2020, Mayweather found himself under the guidance of coach Gerald Tucker. The same year, with Tucker by his corner, ‘Money’ went against Logan Paul in an exhibition match billed as ‘Bragging Rights’ on June 6.

Although Mayweather had to overcome a significant height and weight difference against a much bigger and heavy Paul, he found a way and landed his effective shots. As per the stats given, ‘Money’ in that flight landed 50% of his jabs, 39% of his power shots, and 40% of his attempts in total.

The second fight ‘Money’ fought under Tucker’s guidance was the recent one against Don Moore. As expected, Mayweather showed excellence yet again and dominated Moore from start to finish. Although Mayweather vividly outboxed Moore, since the match was an exhibition, they did not announce a winner. Given the scenarios, so far, Mayweather seems to do pretty well under coach Gerald Tucker.
