The duo faced each other at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on August 26, 2017. While McGregor is an impressive mixed martial artist, he was unable to recreate the magic inside the boxing ring. Mayweather was declared the winner by a 10th-round TKO. Moreover, in victory, he also extended his professional winning streak to 50 victories.
