From the outside, everyone perceives Mayweather and other boxers’ lives as extremely glittery. However, things aren’t the same when one steps into these bigwig boxers’ shoes. Recently, Mayweather interacted with media, wherein he addressed the mental pressure juncture and mental abuse in boxing.

And it hurts me as a fighter sometimes we sit, watching boxing on television, saying you know what, this is not right for the sport. And this makes me want to stay away from the sport when fighters not being treated fair.”

“Because you gotta realize this, a fighter has to live with that, that pain forever. It hurts a fighter, mentally, not just physical, but mentally and mental abuse is crazy for fighters.”
