Former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is currently preparing for an exhibition bout with his former sparring partner, Don Moore. The star has also been very open about life as a grandfather.

In a recent post, Mayweather shared a few heartfelt words of wisdom for his grandson.

Mayweather posted a video that showed his grandson, Kentrell Gaulden Jr. watching him spar. Gaulden Jr. is the son of Mayweather’s eldest daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, and rapper YoungBoy NBA.

In the caption, the former champ had an earnest and heartwarming message for Gaulden Jr.

he begins by saying that he is thankful to his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr. for introducing him to the sport of boxing.

Further, he mentioned that he retired a champion while retaining all his accolades. Mayweather also spoke about making money in retirement. He said, “Even in retirement, I’m still able to milk the game of boxing, continuing to make 8 figures or more. I will continue to do exhibition bouts making tons of money and people from all around the world will continue to pay because my hustle is just different. “

Mayweather also goes on to compare himself to Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, and The Waltons. He also mentioned how he is younger than all of them, and yet they are continuing to make money at their respective ages.

He even ends by saying that it’s what God would have wanted to happen.
