Recently, it was revealed that a suicide occurred at the boxing legend Floyd Mayweather’s Las Vegas condo. The person was known to have a good bond with the boxer. However, ‘Money’ has not mentioned anything about it yet, but he continues to promote his strip club on Instagram. 

The deceased has been recognized as Jarrett Johnson. The 24-year-old was known to have a good relationship with Mayweather. Also, he was a relative of Mayweather’s girlfriend, Jamie Lynn.  

As per TMZSPORTS, Johnson was found by a friend at around 4:30 PM on August 22th. He called 911, and until the time the authorities reached the Las Vegas condo, Jarrett was already dead.

The 24-year-old was an outstanding football player in college. He was a quarterback in high school who even won the Southeast Missouri All-Region Athlete of the Year award. Following that, he played for Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.  

Floyd Mayweather’s next fight 

Mayweather retired from the sport in 2017, when he defeated UFC star Conor McGregor and extended his record to a perfect 50-0. However, he still participates in exhibition fights occasionally. He will now be facing Japan’s Mikuru Asakura. He is a mixed-martial artist and has also been a two-weight champion in Fighting Network Rings. 

Moreover, ‘Money’ had faced Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018, and emerged as the winner in the third round itself. The Hall of Famer last fought his former sparring partner Done Moore in an exhibition fight.

Is there going to be a Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor rematch? 

The biggest boxer and the biggest UFC fighter first squared off inside the ring in 2017. Apparently, the boxer defeated Conor McGregor in one of the most lucrative fights in combat sports. It was a sensational battle that kept the fans riveted to their seats. 

In addition, there have been rumors that the Irishman and the boxer are in talks to stage a rematch. As per TheSun, Mayweather offered $157.9 million to ‘The Notorious’.
