In simple terms, an NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items, and videos. People can buy and sell NFTs strictly online.

Users usually buy and sell NFTs with cryptocurrency, and are mainly part of the Ethereum blockchain. This means users do most of the transactions for the NFTs via the Ethereum network. Although other blockchains support them as well.
