At the beginning of the new year, ‘Money’ Mayweather spoke about his plans to get back in the ring. In an announcement he made via his social media handles, Floyd spoke about fighting in an exhibition match, in Dubai, in 2022.
Ever since the announcement, only one question has been looming in the mind of every fan. ‘Who will Mayweather fight?’ In a clip released from the same day he made his comeback announcement, Mayweather talks about a potential opponent.
“And you talk about Money Kicks. Oh yes, you know I spoke to James McNair before about Money Kicks. We don’t really know. I mean I think, since he’s from here, it’d be great. It’s gonna be a very special crowd, not too many people.” Mayweather said.

Who is Money Kicks aka Rashed Belhasa?
Rashed Belhasa, who goes by the name Money Kicks, is a popular YouTuber and content creator from the UAE. Belhasa is the son of Saif Belhasa, one of the most successful businessmen in the UAE. Saif Belhasa owns the Belhasa group of companies and has a net worth of billions.

Rashed Belhasa initially gained fame when celebrities and sports persons would visit his estate in the UAE. Belhasa had his own private zoo, complete with everything from Giraffes to Lions and bears. From there, he started flaunting his shoe collection, hence the name ‘Money Kicks.’

In 2021, he transitioned from YouTube to boxing and has fought twice in the last six months. His latest fight came against Ajmal Khan, he knocked Khan out in the very first round. Fans claimed the fight was fake, but we’ll let you be the judge of that.
Floyd Mayweather next fight
Floyd Mayweather revealed that he would be fighting on February 20, 2022. Mayweather did not reveal his opponent, but he said it would be an exhibition fight. His last fight was also an exhibition fight. He took on Logan Paul in June 2021.

If he does take on Belhasa, he will be taking on an opponent half his age, with hardly any boxing experience. Although ‘Money Kicks’ seems pretty confident, it is very unlikely that he will fare any better than Logan Paul.
