His father, Floyd Mayweather Sr. often got into fights with people, especially with his uncle Tony. Moreover, these altercations even resulted in Mayweather Sr. getting shot when Floyd was just 2 years old. Along with this, Mayweather was also subject to poverty in his childhood, which made him highly motivated to become successful.
Mayweather has never been shy to state his opinion on various political and social issues and does not care if this leads to beef with other people. Money has always been a fighter since his childhood and instead of being poor and stuck like he was supposed to be, he fought and made a name for himself.
