Is Ryan Garcia trolling again? If not, he and Floyd Mayweather pulled off one of the biggest heists in boxing history! Last weekend, fireworks flew as the Victorville native defeated long-time career rival Devin Haney in Brooklyn, New York. He literally defied the odds to do it, especially considering everyone had given up on him because of his social media antics.

That’s not all! To add a layer of doubt, ‘The Flash’ Garcia came in overweight during the final weigh-ins for the fight. At the time, it seemed like Garcia was having difficulty managing weight. However, the latest social media post from Garcia suggests something more sinister was afoot. And it involved Floyd Mayweather!

Earlier today, ‘King Ry’ turned to X, claiming it was Floyd Mayweather, who instructed him to come in overweight for the fight. He wrote, “Floyd told me to come in over 3 lbs. He told me f**k Bill Haney. Whatever.” Not long after, ‘King Ry’ also shared an image of him and Floyd over a FaceTime call, with Mayweather holding up three fingers. Back before the fight, Garcia even had to pay Haney $1.5 million for missing weight, per their bet.

However, ‘The Dream’ seemed okay with Garcia’s additional 3.2 lbs. He even suggested it doesn’t matter what weight Garcia comes in at, he will beat him. Of course, that wasn’t the case, but Garcia’s post suggests it was a calculated move. Coupled with the fact that Floyd Mayweather tried to derail the fight before, it seems highly likely!

Way before the fight was officially confirmed, Garcia and Mayweather became close, having been spotted together in Los Angeles. It later came out that Garcia was dropping Haney to fight Rolly Romero, but that didn’t work, and Garcia went back to Haney. The 25-year-old had even acknowledged the fact, revealing Floyd asked him to avoid fighting Haney! Not to mention the Gervonta Davis vs. Devin Haney leaked sparring footage, which Garcia claimed Floyd gave him.

Given the evidence, it seems likely that Garcia is telling the truth. However, it’s a developing story, and only time will tell what’s right. Meanwhile, Garcia recently dropped another bombshell!

Garcia claims he wanted everyone to think “I’m going crazy”

Right after the first press conference for the fight, Ryan Garcia started his social media antics, leaving many worried about his mental health. Some went as far as to doubt whether he would be able to fight Haney come fight night. However, according to Garcia’s recent statement in the PBD Podcast with Patrick Bet-David, he was A-OK from the get go!

“We had it pre-recorded months ago. I said ‘I’m about to make sure everybody thinks I’m going crazy,” Garcia told David. He then added, “I’m going to do this, I’m going to do that, watch it’s going to be called ‘The Great Escape.’ I have it all documented. I was already planning weeks and weeks and weeks behind. I don’t know what made me come up with the idea.”

The Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia fight might be over, but the drama surrounding the fight is still going strong on social media. Moreover, it’s yet to be seen whether Garcia’s post about Floyd Mayweather has any truth to it. However, it seems to have reignited all the speculations about Garcia’s fight. Do you think Garcia is telling the truth?
