Thus, it is only natural that he wants his grandson to continue the legacy he and his family have built throughout the years in the sport. Moreover, it does seem like his grandson is keeping up the Mayweather name.

Floyd Mayweather’s grandson shows off his boxing skills

Kentrell Gaulden Jr., who is the son of Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna Mayweather, and NBA YoungBoy, was recently seen showing off his boxing skills in a video. The more surprising part of the footage was that he was just one-year-old and yet was moving like someone much older.

This just goes to show that boxing might be in his genes, as his grandfather certainly hopes that he follows in his footsteps. This is not the first time Mayweather has posted a video of Gaulden showing his skills. He has posted multiple clips on social media where Gaulden can be seen either watching sparring sessions or playing with boxing gloves on.

Grammy-winning rapper 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather have had a rocky relationship in the past. However, the two were once close friends. Despite that, 50 Cent was not shy to poke fun at Mayweather’s grand parenting skills. In an interview with the Breakfast Club, he stated that the former 5-Division champ babysits his grandson in the gym. Moreover, this has caused him to pick u gloves instead of toys, showing the effect Mayweather has had on his grandchild.

His grandson walked around the gym with little gloves on because he looking. That’s what happens when you babysit in the gym. You don’t see nothing but fighters but he looking like he just want to do that like he’ll take out all the toys in the toy box. He’d rather have them gloves you know what I’m saying cause he’s actually around it.” He said.

Although, it is unsure that Gaulden will become a boxer in the future. However, he does have the best trainer in his grandfather, who can also provide him with every means needed to succeed in the sport to go along with his natural abilities.
