Floyd Mayweather Sr. Interrupts Women’s Wrestling Match

Former boxer and coach Floyd Mayweather Sr recently interrupted a women’s wrestling match trying to catch a glimpse as close to the action as possible. The legendary coach attended the Ultimate Women of Wrestling show in Las Vegas, Nevada as a guest but would go on to break some rules

Mayweather Sr was supposed to only be a spectator of the show. However, during a match, he jumped a fence separating the fans and the ring and get a better view.

In a video, Mayweather Sr can be seen interrupting the game taking place between former Impact Wrestling champion Tessa Blanchard and Miranda Alize. Following this, he would try to give some coaching to Blanchard who he previously tried to recruit to his gym.

Blanchard would go on to win her match and put on a great performance. Moreover, the reason for Mayweather Sr’s appearance was due to the Mayweather Boxing Channel sponsoring the show.

Blanchard’s appearance for the promotion comes after her controversies. Back in 2020, the former champion was accused of bullying and racism. This resulted in her contract being terminated by Impact Wrestling. Blanchard would join the Women of Wrestling roster the next year but fell out before making a return with WOW.

Despite his deteriorating health, Money Mayweather’s father has been seen at a lot of events. Moreover, he even went on to visit a young boxer’s funeral in Birmingham who was touted as the next Amir Khan. In a video shared by a fan, Mayweather Sr can be seen in attendance for Ali Tazeem’s funeral after his tragic death.

Back in April, the young boxer was killed in a car crash along with his driver. This was a huge loss for the boxing world, which had to say goodbye to a talented boxer so early. However, Mayweather Sr. made sure to pay his respects by attending the Heroes Education Centre memorial service for Tazeem.
