Who knew Floyd Mayweather liked Donald Trump this much? It may be the business connection the two share. Or maybe their mutual love for Florida has something to do with it. Regardless, Money Mayweather has just revealed himself to be the biggest MAGA supporter with his recent statement.

A few days ago, the former five-division world champion appeared on Fox Business’ YouTube show ‘Making Money’ to promote his latest $400 million real estate investment in New York City as well as the launch of his nutrition brand ‘One of One’. During the show, Mayweather praised the 47th President of the United States wholeheartedly. When asked if he was happy under the new president, Floyd Mayweather replied, “When we had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president, one of the— actually he’s the best president. In my eyes, he’s the best president we ever had.” If that isn’t an endorsement, nothing else can be.

Calling Trump “the best president we’ve ever had” ofcourse didn’t sit well with everybody. Soon, netizens took to the internet to express their discontent with Mayweather’s statement. However, as the chaos erupted, Mayweather found support in a familiar name.

As the statement went viral, several accounts on ‘X’ shared the clip, including one called ‘Libs of TikTok’. This is how the clip found its way to Trump’s senior advisor, Elon Musk. The Tesla CEO immediately reposted the clip, lending his support to the 50-0 boxer. This seems to have pleased the 48-year-old as Floyd Mayweather thanked Musk for his gesture, stating, “Thanks my guy…@elonmusk.”

While the legendary boxer got the support of the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), he is still getting slammed by the netizens online. Floyd Mayweather’s statement helps revive an old feud

Rapper and producer 50 Cent jumped at the chance to reignite his long-standing beef with Floyd Mayweather, taking a swipe at the former champion over the comment. 50 Cent hit up Instagram to roast Mayweather, sharing the clip of the boxing legend gushing over the 47th U.S. president. In the caption, he jabbed, “YO you know how, when you’re in school and a kid eats the crayons. Now you see what happens when they grow up. Spell BEST PRESIDENT champ! LOL.”

This is not the first time that 50 Cent has mocked Floyd Mayweather over his education. Last year, he took to Instagram to promote his new book, ‘Curtis Jackson,’ and couldn’t stop himself from taking a shot at Money Mayweather. “I even made sure the audiobook comes out at the same time so champ won’t feel left out,” he wrote mockingly.

However, the feud between them began way before last year. A decade ago, in 2014, 50 Cent offered to donate $750,000 to a charity of his choice if Floyd Mayweather were to read one page of a Harry Potter book. “If you can read one page out of a Harry Potter book, ni**a, I’ll donate $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to…f**k the bucket of ice, man!” he said in now viral clip.

50 Cent doesn’t seem to share the same enthusiasm for Donald Trump as Floyd Mayweather does. And it looks like he found the statement by Floyd Mayweather rather ignorant.
