Floyd Mayweather is trying to fight anyone since he hung up his gloves in 2017. It did not matter what the boxing resume of the opponent said, what matters is how much the latter could contribute to making it a big business deal. This is the reason the 50-0 widely regarded as one of the greatest fighters of all time proposed a fight offer to the most controversial personality of recent years, Andrew Tate.
The former kickboxer revealed it when asked about fighting at an exhibition with Mayweather.

“No and I got offered that fight and he’s one of my heroes, so I couldn’t bring myself to do it and I mean he’s good. James Floyd Mayweather, he’s retired, and he’s small and I’m a lot bigger than him and I’d be fine. I wouldn’t get knocked out, “ Tate said.
Furthermore, he added, “I love his story, I love his confidence, I love his style. Everyone says he’s boring. He is not boring if you appreciate defense. He’s the best there’s ever been. I absolutely and utterly love Floyd Mayweather, so I couldn’t bring myself to ever throw a punch.”
According to Tate, he made very few heroes in this world and Mayweather is one such hero who inspires and motivates him.
