Floyd Mayweather’s Cornerman Names the Strongest Athlete Ever: It’s Not Floyd!

Boxing is a tough sport. It requires will and immense strength. Amongst other things, strength plays an important role in knocking out an opponent. Even when both fighters weigh the same, differences in power can exist, which at times may be a determining factor.

Nate Jones is a boxing purist. After being an Olympic boxer he went on to be a close aide to Floyd Mayweather. He has also been a cornerman for the undefeated fighter. Though, when asked about who he thinks to be the most powerful person he has met, it wasn’t Mayweather. Rather, he mentioned the former four-weight division champion.

Nate Jones states Adrein Broner is the strongest man he has ever met in his life

Jones has been associated with boxing throughout his life. He has been in many different training camps for distinguished fighters. Not to mention, he has also trained  Adrien Broner. In an interview, he revealed that as per him, Broner is the most powerful pound-for-pound athlete he has ever met.

He states, Broner is the strongest athlete I have ever met in my life. Powerful power. He is physically stronger than any man I have ever met and that’s saying a lot. Any man, Pound for pound.”

There is a lot of merit to what he said. He made that statement without any hesitation. Not to mention, he also did not mention Mayweather. Broner, in 35 victories, has secured 31 knockouts. Even the statistics suggest that Broner’s strength is never to be underestimated.

Broner and Mayweather have been associated with each other. They have been seen hanging out and sharing a good time with each other. Though, they have also had a topsy-turvy relationship.

He once made a comment under a post made by Mayweather, “Win some and you lose some. But you live to bet another day big bro. Plus I still owe you bout 10-11k from a bet we made years ago.”

It appears that Broner is trying to make amends to fix his relationship with the 50-0 boxer. Not to mention, Broner has also made many other amends. He has been sober for many months after suffering from alcohol abuse. He is also set to make his return soon inside the ring this summer.
