In an extraordinary career, Davis has shown his slick power, solid ring IQ, ability to control the ring and so much more. Fans often draw comparisons between him and Mayweather, but the young gun has a long way to trace to be on ‘TBE’s level.
‘Tank’ is one of those few fighters who keeps an active social media presence. Recently, he came up with a staggering tweet that left many fans confused and startled at the same time.

It is unclear why he came up with this tweet. Also, it’s not known whether Davis was targeting a mysterious person on social media.
Many times, Davis posts a lot about his boxing workouts, fight updates, and more. That said, he rarely spills the beans on his personal life or what he actually goes through. Citing that, the above tweet is something not many would expect from him.
The last time ‘Tank’ was in action was against Isaac Cruz, back in December 2021. In this fight, he defended his WBA ‘regular’ lightweight title, winning the fight with a UD.

Since that fight, Davis went out of the limelight and he hasn’t quite made waves about his next fight. In totality, the undefeated fighter seems eager for his return, thus adding more wins to his name.
Who will Gervonta Davis fight next?
A few days back, the WBA ordered Gervonta Davis to defend his strap against arch-nemesis, Rolando Romero. That said, Romero and Davis both come under Mayweather Promotions.

Therefore, a fight between these two seems to have a clear pathway ahead. Also, the two were on the line to fight each other last year, but Romero withdrew from the contest because of a controversy.
