Floyd Mayweather’s ‘Ridiculous’ Clip Goes Viral Hours Before Deji Exhibition

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather will square off against YouTube sensation Deji in his next exhibition match. The match will take place at the Coca-Cola arena in Dubai on November 13th and will be ‘Money’s’ 5th exhibition since retiring from the sport in 2017.

Mayweather is considered to be a global superstar and an icon in the sport. This naturally makes him garner the praise of millions of boxing fans across the world. However, one fan seemingly couldn’t control his emotions after meeting his idol back in 2021.

A resurfaced clip of a fan being overwhelmed enough when he met Mayweather has come out. In the video, the fan can be seen awestruck after meeting TBE. Moreover, he couldn’t even stand after Mayweather shook his hand. In the end, the fan was able to put himself together and take a few photos with the legend.

However, the fans were not happy with the worship Mayweather was getting from the fan and were not shy to call it out as they reacted to the video.

One fan hilariously compared Mayweather to Michael Jackson. He stated that both individuals were able to make people pass out just after meeting them.

Another fan tried to refer to the person as NBA star Ben Simmons, as the two looked similar. Moreover, he added that the even he couldn’t put himself together after he met Mayweather.

One fan pointed out the video was from last year and was just being used to hype up his bout with Deji.

Another fan claimed that anyone should not ‘get on their knees’ for nobody.

Moreover, one fan double down on the ‘worship’ as he claimed that it was embarrassing to see people idolize others who breathe the same air as them. He added that these people were brainwashed and cannot think of their own accord.

Lastly, one fan called this whole thing ‘ridiculous’. According to him, there was a difference between being a fan and an idol worshiper, and this fan certainly was the latter.

Floyd Mayweather is a polarizing personality, to say the least. While he is hated for his brash persona, he is also loved by millions across the world who see him as the best boxer in the history of this sport. However, this fan took things a step further by idolizing him to a level above mortals.
