Over the past few months, Jake Paul has turned into a hot prospect in the boxing universe. The YouTuber turned boxer has fetched massive attention from casual and hardcore boxing fans with his antics. A few days back, he entered a cosmic brawl with Floyd Mayweather at the latter’s pre-fight press conference with Logan Paul.

More than the entire press conference, the backstage altercation between Jake Paul and ‘TBE’ struck everyone’s eye. In fact, it has become a talk of the town, accruing massive reactions from boxing hotshots.

Recently, Floyd Mayweather’s uncle, Jeff Mayweather, gave his take on the entire scenario and talked about Jake Paul.

In a chat with The Mayweather Channel, he said, “It seemed like to me Jake really wants this fight bad. Of course, it’s solely for the money. He had absolutely no f**king chance of winning. But I mean he’s, excuse me, he’s still outshining his brother. He stole the thunder from his brother at his own press conference.”

Jake Paul‘s elder brother and fellow YouTuber, Logan Paul, will battle out ‘Pretty Boy’ on June 6. But Jeff Mayweather felt ‘The Problem Child’ turned the tide in his favor at the press conference and outshone Logan Paul.

Just like ‘The Maverick’, Jake Paul is equally hungry to face Floyd Mayweather in the ring. Hence, this could have been his way to campaign for the fight.

Can Jake Paul really upset Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout?

The Ohio native is just 3 fights old in the boxing universe as of now. In his last fight, he battered the former MMA star, Ben Askren, and scored a vicious T/KO victory in round 1. Now, the only fight he wants next is against Floyd Mayweather.

But competing and winning against ‘TBE’ won’t be that easy. Mayweather is a 25-year veteran; Paul is a novice. Hence, fighting Mayweather at such an early stage in his career can derail the hype created around him.
