Money once owned a 2010 Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, cited to be one of the fastest cars in the world. It is said that there are only two of these cars currently on the market. ‘Money’ purchased this car for a whopping $4.8 million, with it being among his most prized possessions.

The 1,018-horsepower beast came with a unique coated fiber solution that transformed the black carbon fibers in the body into a sparkling, silvery-white color, according to the Koenigsegg website. Other features of the car included carbon ceramic brakes, airbags, paddle-shift, an infotainment system, tire monitoring, and a hydraulic lifting system. The company was going to produce three light-colored models for the car but decided to cut back because of the immense complexities that came with designing the car.

However, the car was sold for half the price Mayweather paid for it back in 2017. It was reported that the car was sold for $2.6 million following Mayweather’s last professional boxing match against Conor McGregor.

Mayweather is known for selling his cars just a few months after purchasing them, which has even gotten him into trouble with automakers in the world. His most notable feud is with Italian automaker Ferrari, who have banned him from purchasing any of their cars.

The reason Floyd Mayweather cannot own a Ferrari

Although ‘Money’ has an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion, he can no longer buy a Ferrari, even though he could easily afford one. The Italian luxury sports car manufacturer added Mayweather to their infamous blacklist. According to the ownership rule of the company, a buyer of their car must retain it for a year.

However, Mayweather would do the exact opposite of this to showcase his bravado and sell off his Ferrari Enzo. This would result in Ferrari banning the former 4-division champ from buying their cars and putting him on a blacklist. Mayweather is now part of this list that includes Kim Kardashian, 50 Cent, and Justin Bieber.
