A YouTuber named True Geordie recently made some revelations about ‘Money’ Mayweather’s exhibition bouts in one of his podcast episodes. The YouTuber revealed the payout difference between what Mayweather gets paid and what his opponents get.

He claimed that Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes 99.9% of the total payout, and the rest is left for his opponent. That’s an eye-watering payout differentiation. Geordie said, “Floyd’s taking the 99.9%, and we’re gonna leave breadcrumbs for anyone willing to take it.” Well, it is not a secret that Mayweather Jr. can generate a lot of revenue from his fights, but this difference in payouts might be a shock for the fans.

He also claimed that the fight was offered to three YouTubers before finalizing on Chalmers, who did not bother taking it because the money wasn’t good enough for them. Notably, the turnout at the fight was low, but that did not stop Mayweather Jr from putting up a great show.
