Tomorrow night, Vasyl Lomachenko will lock horns against the reigning lightweight undisputed champion, Devin Haney. This will be Lomachenko’s opportunity to prove the naysayers wrong and fight his way to glory. But it is safe to say that Haney is not an easy opponent to get through, and Loma will have to be on top of his game to beat the reigning champ. Haney is said to have one of the best jabs in the sport.  However, Loma made a remark comparing Haney’s jab to Ryan Garcia’s left hook, stating “It doesn’t work with guys who know boxing”. And it seems like that statement did not sit well with a friend and fan of the reigning champ.

Claressa Shields was left surprised after Loma’s recent comparison of Garcia and Haney. And she took to Twitter to show her disappointment with the statement and further revised her predictions for the fight.

Claressa Shields’s prediction is “75/25” in favor of Haney

Shields took to Twitter and slammed the Ukranian for making such a claim about the reigning champion. She wrote, “Most shocking thing I’ve heard this week is @VasylLomachenko say that all Undisputed Champ @Realdevinhaneyhave is a good left hook, like @RyanGarcia.”

It seems like Shields is not pleased with Loma’s remarks, and she changed her prediction for the fight upon hearing Loma’s analogy. She further added, “So I thought this fight was maybe 50/50 but now I see it 75/25 for The Dream.”

Haney is known for his calm and offensive boxing style. On the other hand, the ‘Matrix’ is known for his ability to adapt and his impregnable defense. It will be a fight to watch when these two professional boxers with different fighting styles go head-to-head inside the boxing ring.
