‘The Bronze Bomber’ Deontay Wilder has been on a yearlong hiatus after his fight against Tyson Fury in 2021. And, fans have been anticipating the return of the former WBC heavyweight champion. Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Wilder will be making a comeback to the ring.

Wilder was last seen in the ring on October 9, 2021, when he faced Fury at the T-Mobile Arena for the third fight of their iconic trilogy. Moreover, he was fighting for the WBC and the Ring heavyweight titles.

However, he lost the fight via a knockout in the 11th round.

It was recently reported that he is finalizing a deal with Robert Helenius for a showdown on October 15. Additionally, it is also said that the fight will take place at the Barclays Center.

Notably, this announcement comes at a time when Fury also expressed his desire to come out of retirement. He stated that he wished to have a trilogy fight against Derek Chisora.

However, a few users felt that Helenius would be a tough opponent for Wilder. User @obiekudz felt that it will be a tricky matchup for Wilder as Helenius is a hard hitter. Meanwhile, user @matjhupa mentioned that Wilder should have pursued an ‘easier opponent’ like Dillian Whyte.

Similarly, user @Enrique30488411 wondered if Wilder is capable of KO’ing Helenius.

Additionally, a few users were confused by the PPV aspect of the fight.
