WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury claims that Frank Warren has had his back, even during the darkest days of his career. The Brit pugilist suffered severe depression and was on the brink of losing his boxing ride a few years back.

That’s when Queensberry Promotions Kingpin Frank Warren offered his support and resurrected Tyson Fury as the greatest heavyweight of the era. While Fury is now on the way to bag his title unification clash with Anthony Joshua, he took some time to heap praise for his promoter.

In a conversation with BT Sport, ‘The Gypsy King’ claimed that Frank Warren is the sole promoter who can offer him a trillion-dollar fight.

“If there’s any promoter out there who can make it happen (trillion-dollar deal) then the magic man is saying who can do it. You know Frank bought me back from the absolute depths. He told me what he was going to do, and he delivered. So, for that he is going to be a magician,” said Tyson Fury.

Both Warren and Fury have worked alongside for years and have successfully staged several blockbuster fights. However, they don’t seem to have unveiled the biggest of them all, i.e, the ultimate British heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

As both British champions have reportedly locked in the deal, we can expect it to happen soon. That said, the promoters- Frank Warren, Eddie Hearn, and Bob Arum– will have to settle the contractual dust to finalize the deal.

Tyson Fury and Frank Warren plays the smart move

According to reports, WBC champion Fury and unified champion Joshua have signed a two-fight contract for the heavyweight title unification settlement. In the first fight, both men will share a 50/50 purse split. However, the winner of the fight will enjoy a 60/40 share in the rematch.

Already 30-0-1 as a professional with several world titles under his name, Tyson Fury might have a few more fights left before he calls it a day. So, it seems that Frank Warren and his team are planning the smartest path for Fury.
