After a dreadful ring outing against Joe Joyce, Daniel Dubois is finally set to make his return to the ring. The ‘Dynamite’ suffered severe eye injuries in this epic British clash and took a knee in round 10 of the fight.

The fight took place back in November 2020, and Dubois has overcome the same. His promoter Frank Warren recently confirmed his return, giving a timeline for May 2021.

Frank Warren has confirmed Daniel Dubois has now been given the all-clear on his eye injury and will return to the ring in May.” (h/t The Lowdown)

Ever since that loss, the 23-year-old hasn’t begun his grilling workouts. He paid several visits to an eye specialist to examine the damage and has finally received some positive news.

Prior to confronting Joyce, the ‘Dynamite’ was cited as one of the best heavyweight prospects. His fans even considered him as the Mike Tyson of the heavyweight era. However, his dream of becoming the ultimate heavyweight world champion got shattered with that loss.
