The much-awaited heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua seems to materialize in 2021. However, contractual turmoils can still hamper the matchup. While we are yet to receive an official confirmation on the fight, boxing fans continue to worry about it’s happening.
That said, Frank Warren has delivered an update. The Queens berry promotions CEO has connected with Seconds Out to shed light on the current scenario. The 68-year-old appears optimistic about the fight and hopes everyone to come under terms.
“The situation is that negotiations are going the right way and hopefully whatever some sort of something on paper that we all can look at and hopefully agree,” said Warren.

He has further billed his favor for Tyson Fury. While the fight looks close to being sealed, Warren revealed how Bob Arum is looking over the contractual sector.
The Queensberry promoter continued, “I just want to get the fight on. It’s a fight you know I really fancy Tyson to win and we just want to get it as soon as possible and there’s no resistance from Arum. He is just making sure that everybody gets their contractual commitments agreed.”
Although Tyson Fury still has a relevant opponent in former WBC champion Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua remains as his most preferred opponent.
