After stopping Deontay Wilder for the second time in his career, WBC champion Tyson Fury seems invincible to several people. While it’s never right to predict things in a heavyweight affair, Fury has earned enough credentials to tout himself the best in the slot. It’s hard to picture him losing, especially after he has vanquished the best in his weight class.

Still undefeated, Fury has conquered legendary elites like Wilder, Klitschko, Wallin, amongst others. However, he believes Joe Joyce can offer him the toughest fight. Tyson Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren, who also promotes Joyce, connected with Sky Sports to reveal Juggernaut’s chances against ‘The Gypsy King’.

The promoter said, “I was talking to Tyson about him.”

“Tyson said that he’s the best one out there. That’s what Tyson’s opinion was. Can he go all the way? Yes he can. He’s got a good ticker, a big heart. He’s strong, he walks forwards, he is the ‘Juggernaut.'”

“Whoever he’s in there with, you know they will have a problem getting rid of him. He’s a tough guy. He can fight a bit. He can punch.” (H/T:- Boxing Scene)

13-0 as a professional, ‘Juggernaut’ Joyce has 12 KOs under his belt and is highly relevant in the heavyweight title ride. Although he is still not relevant in the WBC scene, Joyce’s WBO mandatory status can bring him closer to a world championship shot soon. Should he secure two or three more wins and should ‘The Gypsy King’ continue to retain his belts, then Tyson Fury and Joe Joyce can cross paths.

After Anthony Joshua’s loss against Oleksandr Usyk, the potential All-English clash between him and Fury looks bleak. But Joe Joyce can fill in that void. Unlike Joshua, ‘Juggernaut’ is still undefeated and is an alarming KO-artist.

Having often been looked at as an underdog in the division, Joyce, following his stellar rise, is a rightful A-lister now. Hence, if things fall into place, Joyce vs Fury could eclipse the hype of ‘AJ’ vs ‘The Gypsy King’.
