The “Heaviest Match in Boxing History” seems like a possibility now. Core Sports will promote the fight between two of the world’s strongest man. The hugely anticipated bout that has got many boxing fans interested will take place in Las Vegas. The bout is planned for September 2021.

Hafthor Bjornsson is a common name courtesy of his multiple appearances in HBO’s hit drama Game of Thrones. Bjornsson played Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane, and a huge number of fans who followed the show are familiar with the 31-year-old.  He is the 2018 World’s Strongest Man, and also the 2018 World’s Ultimate Strongman. He won the 2018-2020 Arnold Strongman Classic and has maintained his position as Iceland’s Strongest Man from 2011 to 2020.

Meanwhile, Eddie Hall won the 2018’s world strongest man competition. He also won UK’s strongest man from 2011 to 2016.

Hall said, “I’m training for this fight like I trained to be the strongest man in the world, no stone un-turned, anyone in my way is getting milled down. As for the fight itself, I have zero doubt in my mind that crybaby Thor is getting folded in half and sent packing back to Iceland.”

MTK Global will be at the helm for the hugely anticipated boxing match. The organization will oversee the event as it will also advise on the operational and logistical aspects. Furthermore, it will handle the overall commercialization of the event.
