Influencer boxers are now competing against professional boxers. Logan Paul, Jake Paul, KSI, and many other such influencers have competed against traditional boxers and continue to do so. Similarly, a gamer, named Jarvis, 21, transitioned to a prize fighter back in 2021. He squared off against Michael Lee and knocked him out in the second round. His victory excited the influencer boxing world and his current record stands at 2 victories against no defeats. And on July 1, he will have his third contest against another influencer boxer- AnEsonGib in Dublin.
However, many would remember Jarvis, not from his bouts but from his sparring session with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Earlier this year, Mayweather sparred with Jarvis and surprised the boxing world with his skills at the age of 46. Mayweather out-skilled and outsmarted the 21-year-old which left a scar on his face.

Jarvis wanted to make amends in his training setup and followed Mayweather’s strenuous training routine. He started training under Mayweather’s coach and lived a lifestyle like the 50-0 boxer. After documenting the whole process, he stated in the video, “I figured if you want to be the best you have trained like them. So I went to Floyd’s legendary coach and he put me through the paces. When I got home could barely move but then he texted me saying ‘500 sit-ups before you sleep champ’, So I had no choice but to get them. After a quick ice bath, I thought I deserved little rest.”
Jarvis trained like Floyd Mayweather and impressed the fans with his dedication
In the video, Jarvis revealed that despite training like Mayweather, he’s not sure if he’s as good as the former world champ. However, he was confident in defeating an influencer boxer like AnEsonGib. Reflecting on the same, he stated, “Was I now as good as Floyd? I felt dead from my late night but not as dead as Gib is going to be when I knock him out on July 15.”
