Dillian Whyte put on a sensational win over the veteran Kubrat Pulev in his last outing. Right from the first bell, he made his intentions clear – he was there to win – and he certainly followed through on it. Post that fight, the ‘Body Snatcher’ is set to confront the ex-WBC heavyweight champ, Deontay Wilder.

A matchup between the duo has become a hot topic in the entire boxing world. And many bigwigs of the game have already expressed their notion on the same.

Recently, Gary Logan, in a chat with SecondsOut, gave his take on the ecstatic Wilder vs Whyte matchup.

He said, “Right now with activity as well, he’s (Whyte) ahead of Wilder. He’s ahead of Wilder, you know, and Wilder needs Dillian. And it sounds like that’s something that could well happen because probably we didn’t know from with Dillian is that for Dillian – Wilder is that he’s got weight in it.”

The Brit has stayed supremely active in the game ever since he turned professional. He has a long-time dream of fighting for the heavyweight world title. And for that, Whyte is ready to vanquish any and everyone from his way.

Wilder, on the other hand, hasn’t competed in the sport after succumbing to a brutal loss to Tyson Fury a year ago.

He’s in search of a stout opponent for his comeback, and there is no one better than Whyte to provide him with a stern in-ring test.
