Firstly, Richardson took it to Twitter and shared a news piece wherein it was mentioned that Canelo would face Jermall Charlo over Golovkin. He wrote, “I’d rather watch him against Charlo than GGG again, too. GGG is finished.”

These comments left the middleweight chap fuming, and as a result, he launched a verbal attack on Richardson.

“Nobody gives a sh*t what you think. I’d rather watch people doing something worth my attention than trash talking and hyping around my name. Way too cliché,” he wrote.

‘GGG’ last fought in December 2020, wherein he faced Kamil Szeremeta for his title defense. This was a one-sided outing and the 39-year-old truly outclassed his fellow adversary.
