Gennady Golovkin has unified the WBA (Super), IBF, and IBO middleweight titles en route to potentially facing his arch-rival, the pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez.

Recently, though, Golovkin got a warning message about the Mexican star’s lethal shot that has terrorized the ring for over a decade.

Recently, the former champion in two weight classes, Tim Bradley, reflected on the potential third clash between ‘GGG’ and Canelo Alvarez.

According to Bradley, it’s a very hard job for Golovkin to win against Canelo in his prime. Ahead of the clash, he warned Golovkin of ‘Kill Shots’.

Bradley compared Canelo with the previous opponent of Golovkin and said, “Canelo gonna do he’s gonna press forward he’s a little slipperier than a lot slipperier than Morata and he’s gonna land he’s gonna be level landing shots his kill shots the top right hands left hooks whatever and he’s gonna set him up.”

Furthermore, he praised Canelo’s strong points. He said, ” I think conditioning-wise Canelo is at his peak now too. He’s fighting at his peak man. I see him stopping him and if he doesn’t stop him, he’s gonna hurt him. He’s only gonna hurt him really badly.”

A look at previous fights between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez

The rivalry between the best technicians of this generation began in 2017 when the duo collided for the first time. The fight ended in a controversial draw. As per the expectations, both fighters lived up to the pretty intense hype and landed an incredibly close contest.

GGG out-jabbed Canelo but could not match the power shots of the Mexican icon. This paved the way for the second fight.

The second battle landed a year later in 2018 and was labeled as the fight of the year. T-Mobile Arena witnessed the memorable event. The fight ended with a majority decision victory in Canelo’s favor. However, the verdict never satisfied Golovkin, and that gave voice to the third fight.
