George Kambosos Jr. Wants “Six-Figure” Pay to Reschedule Fight Against Teofimo Lopez

The lightweight thriller between Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr. isn’t running out of complexities. The fight has been delayed from October 4 to October 16, which is the third official postponement. Given these multiple delays, Kambosos Jr. might have had enough of it.

19-0 as a professional. ‘Ferocious’ earned his shot at the lightweight titles in June. He was confident about bagging the belts. But several outer-ring factors like Floyd Mayweather’s return and Teofimo Lopez’s positive Covid-19 test pushed back the date.

Chris Mannix from SI revealed on social media that the undefeated Australian fighter wants a hike in his payment. He has demanded a six-figure increase to comply with the demands.
