Three-division world champion Gervonta Davis returned to the 135 lbs unit in his latest outing against Isaac Cruz, which didn’t go very well for him. Although Davis outworked his opponent, he couldn’t score a stoppage, ending his 16 fight KO-streak at a go. Well, ‘Tank’ may remain in the lightweight division for some time, and can generate some of the best matchups.

Gervonta Davis can slide in at anytime

WBA (regular) 135 lbs champion Gervonta Davis is an elite-level knockout artist and has put almost all of his opponents to sleep. However, he hasn’t faced the best fighters in the lightweight division, which we can finally see happening in 2022. Tank’s physical frame suits him very well in the 135 lbs division.

While he also holds a word title over there, we can see him go against the mandatory contenders.
