He has an undefeated professional record with 28 wins and 24 knockouts. Davis is in a training camp ahead of his fight with Ryan Garcia, scheduled for April 15 in Las Vegas. The matchup is one of the most anticipated lightweight bouts in the boxing world. The former lightweight champion has been appreciative of talent from the very beginning, even if they are his rivals. This trait of Davis makes him unique from the other boxers in the sport.

In an interview, Gervonta Davis remembered the Late Mexican singer Selena Quintanilla Perez. He wore a shirt with her picture ahead of his fight with Hector Garcia in January 2023.

In a recent interview with ESNEWS,  Davis talked about the time he wore the shirt with Selena Quintanilla on it. He was asked why he chose to wear the shirt.

Davis responded, “I like her. I think she was a good singer.”  The Tank was wearing the shirt during training before his fight with Hector Garcia, which he ended up winning.
