The Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight is getting closer by the day with each development. Fans are eagerly waiting to witness this super-fight. Since the notion of a bout began, both boxers have been throwing insults at one another on Twitter. However, their most recent online teasing perhaps went too far.

Both Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis are gearing up for their fight next year. It could turn out to be the biggest fight of their careers. However, ahead of their much-anticipated bout, Garcia took to Twitter and wrote, “Tanks very emotional huh.”

Following that, Davis slapped back at Garcia in a retweet and said, “Yea I’m the type to get emotional and slap the sh*t outta you.”

As interesting as their online banter, even their upcoming clash is going to be one of the biggest fights in the lightweight division. Both of them are still undefeated, and this clash might break someone’s perfect streak.

Reportedly, Davis and Garcia are set to lock horns with each other next year in Las Vegas. It is expected to take place at 136-pounds in April. Ahead of their clash, the Baltimore prodigy will be fighting on January 7th. Speaking of Garcia, he was the one who initially proposed the match after defeating Javier Fortuna.

Ryan Garcia has been showing his enthusiasm to take on Davis for months, and he once stated, “I want to fight Tank and Tank wants to fight me. This fight is what boxing needs right now! I accepted all the terms on my side and instructed my team to get it done exactly as offered. The fans deserve this fight. Our sport needs this fight.”

There are no titles at stake in the super-fight. But more important than any trophy is witnessing two of the best fighters go head to head. The contest will undoubtedly draw a sizable crowd to the boxing arena.
