Three-division champion Gervonta Davis is prepared to secure another spectacular win when he takes on Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz on December 5 at the Staples Center in LA. After a bout at super-lightweight, Davis will defend his WBA belt in the 12-rounds headliner. Meanwhile, Davis’ current knockout record doesn’t indicate that the fight will go the distance.

However, Isaac Cruz is also an A-lister and one of the best in the lightweight division. That said, ‘Tank’ should not sleep on his upcoming opponent. As a professional, he will not treat any opponent lightly and will train to be at his absolute best.

Besides, Davis changes his training regime per his opponents. For the Isaac Cruz fight, he saw a last-minute change in the opponent. It clearly changed his training regime. But ‘Tank’ is back in full force. Talking about his shift of mindset from ‘Rolly’ to ‘Pitbull’, Davis’ trainer Barry Hunter revealed some major insights.

“This whole camp been geared up to one person. We had our hearts and our intentions set on Rolly. The people that we have been sparring against, they were Rolly-like, so we got a bring a few Cruz look-alikes in,” said the trainer.

Meanwhile, Davis has another reason that fuels him up and turns him into a perfect lightweight specimen of the existing boxing roster.

What fuels Gervonta Davis’ power?

‘Tank’ follows a strict diet, especially when he is in a fight camp. He has his own nutritionist and a chef that looks after his diet and overall food habits. According to reports, from a change in water intake to scrutinizing his diet plan, ‘Tank’ takes nothing about his physique lightly.

His meal includes turkey bacon with eggs and mixed pepper for breakfast. His lunch includes tuna, spinach, along with a light snack. At dinner, Gervonta Davis takes Slamon, smothered potatoes, and broccoli.
