Gervonta Davis vs Rolando Romero

The main event on the card is certainly going to produce a spectacular clash. The pair is undefeated and moreover, the trash talk between them has made this bout more intense.

Gervonta Davis is going to step into the ring to defend his WBA (Regular) lightweight title against the power puncher, Rolando Romero. Davis, who has held titles in three weight classes, is a far bigger fighter than Romero. The southpaw champ has been to 27 battles nearly twice that of the challenger. He clinched 24 victories by TKO. The knockout machine has some lethal combinations in its arsenal. If Romero could not escape them, it’s going to be hard for him to survive 12 rounds.

On the other hand, Romero is confident about his win. Certainly, he has a reach and height advantage, but it would be interesting to see how he uses this in his favor. The orthodox champion has a phenomenal KO record. He has the potential to upset Davis, but it’s not going to be easy. Davis is the favorite among the two because he is technically more sound than Romero.

Prediction: Davis to win by TKO.

Erislandy Lara vs Gary O’ Sullivan

The 39-year-old, Erislandy Lara, is in the fading days of his career. The Cuban will defend his WBA (Regular) middleweight title against Gary O’ Sullivan. It’s not going to be an easy job for the champion, neither it is going to be tough.

Lara has clashed with big names and was a phenomenal version of a fighter in his prime days. The 37-year-old, Sullivan, does not seem to pose any threat to a fighter who is as big as Lara.

Prediction: Erislandy Lara, to win by decision.

Jesus Ramos vs Luke Santamaria

Jesus Alejandro Ramos is the southpaw pugilist with an unbeaten record of 17-0. The champ has the upper hand on technical and stature grounds. Certainly, he is the favorite of the two.

On the other hand, Luke Santamaria (13-2-1) has improved a lot from his previous clashes. Albeit, it’s not going to be enough to stop Ramos.

Prediction: Jesus Ramos to win via TKO.
