Hafthor Bjornsson appeared under the big lights yet again to fulfill his love for fighting. This time, it was a much bigger event, wherein he faced Devon Larratt. Earlier, the strongman was supposed to face his rival Eddie Hall which was said to be the ‘Heaviest Fight in Boxing History’. But Hall had injured himself, and he had to withdraw from this fight.

That said, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actor then faced Larratt in Dubai at a PPV event and he secured an unparalleled first-round win.

After the fight, Bjornsson interacted with iFL TV. Here, he called out his rival Hall and expressed his interest in re-booking a fight with him.

He said, “Get off the sofa man, start training because I’m not taking this lightly. I’m training extremely hard. I’m gonna go home now and start training right away. I know you’re about to do injuries right now, but if I were you, I would train as much as I can because I’m training my butt off, and this is gonna hurt whenever you decide to step in the ring.”

The Icelandic strongman, over the past few months, has given his all, preparing for his fight with Hall. And he still wants to settle things once and for all.

A novice in the sport, Bjornsson showed good intent and skills against Larratt. That’s why it took him just a single round to decode his opponents’ style of fighting and give him the beating of his life. Also, with this win, the 32-year-old has planted himself in the mind of boxing fans.
