Jermell Charlo vs. Brian Castano 2 was one of the most anticipated fights of the year. Both boxers, being in the prime of their careers, put on a tough and thrilling spectacle. However, something strange happened during the post-fight press conference: Jermell Charlo stormed at a journalist.

Jermell Charlo was crowned champion and was eager to answer questions. Amidst this, Mike Coppinger from ESPN said, “My cabinetry ESPN, congrats on an amazing performance, becoming undisputed.”

Charlo interrupted and asked, “Are you sure? You’re gonna charge that list?

Trainer Derrick James put a hand on Charlo’s shoulder to calm him down and said, “We love him.”

Charlo: “I don’t love him, you love him.” He further said to Coppinger, “Go and answer your questions. Get your sh*t together, you always hating on people and sh*t. You see you gotta come back to me now, you gotta respect me now. You got no choice but to respect me now. Yeah, I did what I had to do.”

ESPN has a pound-for-pound and divisional rankings list. Charlo most likely despised ESPN’s rankings, so he stormed at Coppinger.

Jermell Charlo vs Brian Castano 2 highlights

The two fought for the first time in July 2021. It was a fantastic brawl full of tactical maneuvers and strong jabs. Both boxers, who have impressive resumes, put up a fantastic fight. However, the bout ended in a stalemate.

In the tenth round of their rematch, Charlo knocked out Castano with a left hook to end the bout. Castano made an unsuccessful attempt to stand, and Iron Man was crowned the winner of the fight.

With this great victory, Charlo aka Iron Man has earned the hearts of his followers and is now the undisputed champion super welterweight (35-1-1). On the other hand, Brian Castano (17-1-2) had to deal with some quick and powerful jabs from his opponent.

Iron Man has made history with this magnificent victory. But Charlo’s narrative does not finish there; who will be his next opponent? There’s a buzz that he’ll face Tim Tszyu or Sebastian Fundora next. Only time will tell who his next opponent will be.
