Speaking to SecondsOut on YouTube, McCrory said, “If I come back after 27 years of never lacing a glove on, knock Roy Jones out… I think people might say ‘How good could Glenn McCrory have really been.”

Thus, this statement from the Brit showed that for him it is about reminding people of his hay-day. In a time when retired fighters want a piece of the action for the money, it should be a pleasant surprise to fans that McCrory wants to return to prove a point.

The Englishman then spoke about his return and the potential date for the same. Jones Jr has already made his comeback against Mike Tyson in November, so he should have no problem stepping back into the ring.

“They’re looking at May. We’ve got TUFF boxing, which are a new outfit which I’m really happy to be associated with Simon Whittle, great, great guy… So, I’m hoping they can put this on,” said McCrory.
