Mike Tyson reveals why he wanted his children to see where he grew up

In a recent appearance on the PDB podcast, Iron Mike claimed that he wanted his children to see where he grew up. His intentions were to provide a firsthand understanding of the difficulties he encountered and to instill resilience and toughness in his child.

If they didn’t have that opportunity, I would want them to be in public school. You know, we were struggling for the money, but no, we wanted them to go and experience that. I want my kids to experience where I lived. I wanted to take them to Brownsville Brooklyn, let them have pizza, you know, let them go to the park,” he said.
