Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk has been in the works for a couple of years now. Earlier this summer, it appeared that the two may face each other this year. However, they failed to come to an understanding, and subsequently, the match-up fell apart. There was also the Ngannou fight which further pushed their fight into next year. However, now their unification bout is made official and will be held on the 17th of February next year.
Recently, Frank Warren, Tyson Fury’s promoter, weighed in on the WBC heavyweight champion and his fight with Usyk. He claimed it would be easy, and gave his prediction on the outcome of the fight. So, without further ado, let’s dive right into his comments.

Fury vs. Usyk; Frank Warren weighs in
Both boxers are undefeated and have defeated formidable champions. Notwithstanding their styles, Warren asserted that it would be an easy fight. After their press conference, Warren was asked about this claim. He responded in the affirmative given the styles of the two combatants. When asked for a prediction, he revealed he believes Fury will take home the victory.
Reflecting on the same, in an interview with Boxing New Plus, he stated, “There’s obviously been a lot of tension. This fight has been called for and it’s been off and on for well over a year. Now it is on. The fight is signed as we all know. It’s been announced officially today, and these guys will be in the ring on the 17th.” He added, “Look Styles makes fights. I think it is going to be an easy fight. When you will find out is on the 17th. I think Tyson wins the fight.”

Warren on why Tyson Fury will win
In Usyk’s last bout, he was floored by Daniel Dubois. Using this as an example, Warren finds body shots to be a weakness for Usyk. He considers that Fury would not only beat him but defeat him via a stoppage. In an interview, he stated, “He will stop Oleksandr Usyk same as my man [Daniel Dubois] got cheated out of it. He stopped him. He can’t take a shot to the body. I’ve always said that.”
