On December 25, Jake Paul turned to X (formerly Twitter) to expose Tommy Fury and his father’s hypocrisy. Back in February, ‘The Problem Child’ went toe-to-toe with the biggest challenge of his short boxing career ‘TNT’ Fury. However, he failed to replicate his prior wins and suffered his first career defeat. After the loss, Paul promised vengeance, but the Londoner did not seem interested. So, what did Jake do next?

While Tommy went on to fight KSI, winning the fight via unanimous decision, Paul also made a major comeback by defeating Nate Diaz. More recently, the YouTuber turned boxer squared off against Andre August (a rather unknown pugilist) and knocked him out in the first round of their fight on 15 December. However, now ‘The Problem Child’ seems to think he is ready to face Fury for a second time as he reveals his conversation with Tommy and his father.

Jake Paul claims Tommy Fury and his father are money-hungry

Jumping on X, the younger Paul brother revealed that he spoke to Tommy and his father a month ago! He claimed despite offering Tommy the biggest opportunity of his career, they only seemed interested in the money and later went silent. Paul even suggested Tommy was scared because real fighters would not miss the chance of grabbing the biggest payday and delivering on their promise to knock out Jake. 

“Had a call with Tommy and his dad John about a month ago. It was clear their main concern was money and not about actually getting the fight done. After offering him the largest guarantee on the biggest stage he’d ever receive they have gone silent,” wrote Paul. While Jake Paul revealed his conversation with the Fury’s, Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, emphasized Jake’s offer.

Logan Paul calls Tommy Fury a Ken Doll

On 24 December, Happy Punch shared a clip of Tommy Fury calling out Logan Paul for a fight. So, the ‘Maverick’ quickly retorted, roping in his brother’s offer to fight him a rematch. Logan, labeling Tommy a Ken doll asked him why is he challenging him, especially when Jake offered him heaps of money for a rematch.

It’s worth mentioning that Logan is currently in the WWE, as he announced after defeating Dillon Danis. Logan wrote, “Why is this Ken doll calling ME out, a wrestler when I know for a fact my 8-1 boxing brother @jakepaul just offered him the most money he’s ever been paid to fight? what you running from Tommy?”
