Both of them are in the prime of their careers and are reigning in the lightweight division. There hasn’t been any announcement about it yet, but fans are already excited about the bout.

Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia: A fight for greatness 

Garcia has revealed several times that he wants to fight the Baltimore prodigy. He recently defeated Javier Fortuna and extended his unbeatable streak. Soon after he defeated Fortuna, Garcia openly called out Tank for a potential bout. 

Garcia said, “I’m not going back down to 135 for nothing, but I will fight Tank next. If Tank wants that 140, hey, but hey, I’m gonna record all the negotiations, so you guys don’t make o headlines saying I’m ducking. If he wants it, let’s get it.”

Following this, even Davis took to Twitter and wrote, “See y’all the end of the year..#TheOne.”

Well, Tank clearly did not say yes, but maybe it points toward a potential fight between him and Garcia by the end of the year. Moreover, Tank’s promoter Floyd Mayweather also said that there could be a fight between them if the demands were met.

Even Garcia’s promoter, Oscar De La Hoya called out Davis to fight KingRy. This will not only be a fight between the two lightweight boxers, it will be above that. De La Hoya and Mayweather also share a strong rivalry from back in the day. The two legends fought each other in 2007. Eventually, ‘Money’ emerged as the winner in that fight.
