While talking to ‘talkSport’, Tyson Fury stated, “AJ’s bubble’s been burst, he’s been beat twice. He ain’t a virgin anymore, he’s been battered from pillar to post by a fat man on three weeks’ notice and by a middleweight. Usyk hasn’t [been beaten], but that’s a middleweight coming up from cruiserweight to heavyweight, none of my interest at all.”

He further added, “Because if AJ gets beat again off Usyk, then there’s only gonna be one man to redeem this great fighting nation of the United Kingdom and he goes by the name of Tyson Fury.

Fury had a witty answer while talking about fighting Joshua, “Oh, I’m terrified of him. He’s got a chin of granite, a heart of gold, he’s got everything that a fighting man should have. Oh, I’m absolutely shaking in my boots.”

Fury hinted toward the possibility that he may return to the boxing ring, and it can only happen after the AJ vs. Usyk fight. We have to wait till then to witness the return of the king.

One of the biggest fights that the world is waiting to witness is the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. Their first fight billed as ‘The Perfect Storm’ was a sensational bout that took place in September 2021 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. At the time, Usyk outclassed AJ and emerged as the champion.

Apparently, the rematch is set to be more intense, because AJ is known for spectacular comebacks. The two titans were due to meet again in May, but the Russian invasion of Ukraine forced Usyk to return to his homeland to fight for his country. However, the Ukrainian government has given Usyk permission to fight, and he is ready to enter the ring again.
