Tyson has been a long-time admirer of the Mexican boxer David Benavidez and not only that, the former undisputed heavyweight champion has made strong claims about the super-middleweight boxer and his upcoming fight with the American Caleb Plant.

Recently, In an interview, ‘Iron’ Mike discussed why he thinks Benavidez is unbeatable and a very difficult opponent to get through for any opponent in the weight category.

Benavidez is unbeatable for a reason

In an interview with Fight Hub TV, Tyson gave his opinions on the upcoming bout between the ‘Mexican Monster’ and Caleb Plant. He said, “Benavidez could beat everybody. My money is with Benavidez until he gets beat.” He moreover added, “and then he gets beat am still with him.”

‘The Baddest man on the planet’ made significant claims about the undefeated super middleweight. Tyson further discusses what makes Benavidez so good in his opinion. He said, “His attitude. He was a little heavy fat kid and he wants to prove himself to the world. “ Tyson went further to say something that can give the reader goosebumps. He said, “The greatest fighters in the world are most insecure fighters. It doesn’t seem that way but it is.”

The interviewer then asked Tyson if he thinks Benavidez can beat the ‘Cinammon’ Canelo Alvarez. To this, Tyson responded by saying that he beats everybody he gets in the ring with. Tyson is adamant that David Benavidez is meant for greatness and will be the world champion one day. Notably, David Benavidez’s older brother Jose Benavidez Jr will be making his Hollywood debut in the upcoming Creed III.
