However, a scene from the recent Super Bowl gave rise to speculations about Davis backing out of the fight due to an injury. According to TMZ, he had suffered an ankle injury. Meanwhile, he was certain that he will make a complete recovery before the fight. Davis also added, “Sh*t happen all the time. Sh*t be happening.”

News about the same was shared on social media. And, Garcia was quick to wish him a speedy recovery. He further also reminded him of their upcoming fight. This came at a time when there was news that a contract between the duo was yet to be signed.
