‘He Called Me a Horrible Fighter but He Just Got Beat by a Basic Foundation’: Demetrius Andrade Hits Out at Canelo Alvarez

The loss of Canelo Alvarez against Dmitry Bivol paved a lot of criticism from the famous entities of boxing. Similarly, Demetrius Andrade, who wanted to fight Alvarez, criticized him for his defeat against Bivol and took some serious dig at Alvarez. 

During the interview with Fight Hype, Andrade discussed Alvarez’s loss in his last fight and mocked him for it. Andrade said, “I mean he called me a horrible fighter, but he just got beat by like a basic, foundation. For me, I do that for next, s**t. I throw uppercuts from like miles away behind and be hitting people s**t.”

Andrade described how Bivol dominated Alvarez during the fight and annihilated him. Moreover, he praised himself and talked about his attributes, and explained how he would have dealt with Alvarez if he faced him. 

Next fight of Canelo Alvarez

The fans raised a question about Alvarez on his performance in his latest fight. They are looking forward to his rematch against Dmitry Bivol. But before that, they will witness him taking on Gennady Golovkin in their trilogy fight. 

The match is most likely going to take place on September 17, 2022. However, the venue is not confirmed yet by the organizers for the same.

The previous fights attracted a heavy viewership from the spectators, where both the boxers portrayed immense skills in boxing in the ring.

In the first fight, both the boxers went head to head till the 12 rounds, and therefore the fight resulted in a draw. But in the second fight, Alvarez performed better than Golovkin, consequently, he won by a decision.

This fight has given a pause to the rematch of Canelo Alvarez against Bivol. However, the fans waited for this trilogy more than anything else which will take this event to great hype. 

Well, it will be interesting to see the trilogy of Alvarez and Golovkin, where the boxers will look forward to finishing what remained incomplete in their previous fights. More importantly, it will be a tough test for Alvarez as he lost his last fight against Bivol and the fans expect him to make a comeback.
