In April this year, Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis finally had their anticipated match. Both boxers were around the same age and boasted undefeated records. Not to mention, the boxing world had taken a keen interest in seeing who would get the better of the other. Subsequently, when the bout was finalized, it was record-breaking and financially lucrative.
Although Garcia was defeated via a stoppage in the seventh round, it seems that Garcia is intent on having a rematch, but only if Gervonta Davis comes begging for it.

Is Garcia vs Davis 2 a possibility?
It would be hard to deny that a rematch would be lucrative. Banking on the same, the 25-year-old claims that Tank is not a big enough draw without a good dance partner. In addition, he asserts that in order to sell a significant amount of pay-per-views, he must agree to have another go in the ring.
Reflecting on the same, he stated, “He’s going to have to come to me. Do you know why? He can’t sell PPVs. He can’t be a star if he’s doing 150,000 buys… At the end of the day, they are all going to need me. I can make way bigger fights than he can make by himself. He should be thanking me, I just blessed him with around $ 30 million”

One may debate and question Garcia. However, there may be some underlying truth to his comments that may incentivize Davis to agree to a rematch. Moreover, if the bout does take place, Kingry finds himself to be superior.
Ryan Garcia makes a bold claim about his rematch with Tank
A couple of days ago, Garcia made a bold claim in which he argued that he was a shell of himself in the first bout with, ‘Tank.’ And that in a second opportunity, he would get the better of the undefeated boxer. In an interview, he stated, “He knows that it wasn’t who I really was, and I don’t care what anybody says. That’s not me. I don’t fight like that, and I’m way better than that. I’m better than him and I just gotta prove myself now.”
