WBC heavyweight Tyson Fury was not shy to take shots at fellow contender Anthony Joshua, ahead of his rematch with unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk on August 20. Fury has retired from boxing after his victory over Dillian Whyte. However, this did not stop the Gypsy King from ripping into Joshua.

In an interview with IFTV, Fury claims that he has tried to make the fight six times and even refers to Joshua as a ‘Diva’ as he says,” Tried to make that fight six times at least and unsuccessful every time because you’re messing with a diva. Prima donna, little sucker bitch, who don’t wanna fight”

Moreover, he went on to add that Joshua could not even beat him with a baseball bat saying, “He couldn’t beat me if he had a baseball bat while I was sleeping.”

The Gypsy King has accused Joshua of ducking him and certainly thinks that the Olympic Gold medalist would not stand a chance against him in a fight.

What’s next for Tyson Fury?
There have been a lot of talks surrounding Fury’s return to face the winner of the match between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk, but Fury has come out and denied those rumors publicly. Moreover, the Gypsy King has stated many times that he will probably stay retired in the future, as he is now more focused on his wife and kids.

However, the champ is yet to vacate his WBC title, making it look like he is waiting for the winner of Joshua vs Usyk 2. Surprisingly, he is only 33 years old and one of the best boxers in the world, which made this decision look strange to a lot of fans. And now, with Fury calling out Joshua publicly, a return certainly looks like a possibility.
